The Story Behind Thios + Co.
For 70 years, fresh produce has been getting less nutritious. The only real solution? Get it to your table faster. That means growing it closer—even in a Chicago parking spot during winter. That's how the Agrosphere™ idea started.
But here's what I didn't expect: the modular design I created for farming turned out to be incredibly flexible. The same system that grows food could become a workspace, a sauna, a gaming room—pretty much anything. That changed everything.
It made sense to make it open source. Let everyone contribute, speed up innovation, build a community around it. But the Agrosphere is complicated—water systems, climate control, monitoring. So we're starting with simpler products and working our way up. Each Kickstarter funds the next phase.
Our Product Journey
We're building from simple to complex. Each product teaches us something:
1. Whole Thiosphere™ Handbook
The vision. The guide. Funds our startup. Available now.
2. Thiosphere™ SDK
PDF plans, templates, 3D printable tools. Coming soon.
3. Saunosphere™ - Kickstarter #1
Wood-fired sauna. Simple. Rustic.
4. Immosphere™ - Kickstarter #2
Backyard gaming room with HVAC. Target: Late 2025/Early 2026.
5. Agrosphere™ - Kickstarter #3
Modular greenhouse for year-round growing. Target: 2026.
What We're Building
We're creating an industry of modular shelter providers. Open source designs mean anyone can build, modify, and sell Thiosphere products. That's the goal—spread the capability, not concentrate it.
